A tired classic from the archives? No way, Jose! This is a true French charm. The real Bordeaux. There’s no other like it. Cannot be imitated. Cannot be rushed. It’s the meeting of time and patience with the best of the grapes. The 2005 vintage excelled here.
The taste is sure and calm. It has a firm, velvety medium body and a soft earthiness. The fruit is no longer prominent, but rather rounded and perfectly integrated.
The excellent foundation is limestone soil with iron, hand-picked grapes and honest maturation in barrels. That’s how the Feytit family have always done it.
The great news is that this wine has a lot more potential. It certainly isn’t done yet. You can easily keep it for a few more years. Or you can open it now and enjoy a truly wonderful evening.
