The 2001 Saint-Hilaire dry red wine is an exceptional representation of the specific terroir of the famous Médoc wine region. It is made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and has excellent archiving potential thanks to a well thought-out proportion of varieties. The maturation period takes place in barriques for one year.
The Château Saint-Hilaire winery, from which the wine originates stands predominantly on bedrock of gravel subsoil with a view over the Gironde River. It is the unique terroir of this place that gives rise to their elegant wines.
