It’s 2006.
The gracious golden French sun is gently tickling the Merlot grapes on the slopes over the Dordogne river. Later, when perfectly ripe, they’ll be hand-picked by the experienced winemakers.
Then comes the time for rest in a cellar – eighteen months in oak barrels. Slowly. No rush. And through this patience it becomes a legend. Deep. Soft as velvet.
The color? Dark cherry.
The aroma? Red fruits with a hint of peach, light vanilla tones and wood.
The taste? Velvety, balanced, with soft tannins that soothe and caress the tastebuds.
This Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is indeed a wine that has stood the test of time.
It’s great for archiving.
Taste the wine with the soul of Bordeaux. It’s firm, rounded and soft at the same time. Such wine that matures with nobility.
