The fresh taste of Riesling is complemented by notes of raisins and honey. The aroma is very varied and you can smell tropical fruits, gooseberries or currants, traces of nuts and meadow flowers. The colour has greenish and yellow shades.
The wine has undergone spontaneous fermentation and aged in wooden barrels. It is excellent with sausage, pâté or fish.
The specificity of this variety is that it was grown in a ‘backyard vineyard’ until 2009. This was subsequently grubbed up and replanted with another variety.
