“Small in volume, great in quality. This is how the winemakers from the André Brunel winery describe their archival red Châteauneuf-du-Pape. And we’re going to have to agree with them. A cool spring and dry summer gave rise to an exceptional wine that becomes fuller and more elegant with each year of archiving.

Its dark violet color will fascinate you at first glance. Your nose is enchanted by fruity and mineral tones. And when the first drop meets your tongue the wine will win you over with its freshness and delicate tannins.

The archival Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine was created from the Grenache (70 %), Mourvèdre (17 %), Syrah (10 %), and Cinsault (3 %) grape varieties. It waited a whole decade for you. Its taste has rounded out and achieved a fullness that you won’t find with young wines.

It’s enchanting for an evening with your friends. And superb for archiving.

You should definitely try it.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How is the wine packaged for transport?

  • What does the wine actually look like?

You can view all the wines in the 360-degree photographs that are provided for each of them. These are authentic photographs. When the bottles are have been stored in varying conditions all of them are photographed and you can choose from among them.

  • Is archival wine suitable for drinking?

Only a winery’s best wines are put into archives. They have their exceptional taste, which is incomparable with the taste of young wines.
