Barolo from the Bric Cenciurio winery: Prestigious wine from two brothers-in-law

Imagine setting off on a sunny trip to Italy. Just before Genoa, you happen upon the village of Barolo and find the Bric Cenciurio winery hidden among the hills there.

The winery was founded by two brothers-in-law who still harvest the grapes by hand with respect for nature. They use methods that have been passed down from generation to generation in Italy.

This gave rise to Barolo, one of the most prestigious wines in the world with an excellent potential for maturing.

Vintage Barolo with an aroma of roses

Dry red Barolo was made from the traditional Nebbiolo variety. After 35 days of maceration, it matured for two years in an oak barrel and 6 months in the bottle. Over the years of its maturing, its flavors have interconnected, making the wine ready today for both glass and archive.

The renowned Wine Enthusiast magazine describes Barolo 2014 Coste di Rose as follows: “Rose, iris and menthol aromas take center stage.” The magazine gives this vintage wine 91 points out of 100.

In terms of flavor, you can look forward to cherries, cranberries and clove with pleasant tannins and acidity.

Barolo from Bric Cenciurio winery goes hand and hand with hard cheeses. Want to taste it?
