With this wine you’ll want to bury your nose in the glass and remain this way for a while. What if you could reminisce about fall, the smell of dry leaves and wooden tones? Along with the hint of ripe cherries. The dark ruby color will enchant you with its intensity but remains subtle at the same time. Enjoy the sight, swirl the glass and let the aroma do its magic. Then get on with tasting it.
You’ll feel the elegant and balanced Merlot (90%) in your mouth with the remaining 10% of Cabernet Franc. You’ll be flooded with a fruity softness, the round and silky taste of tannins. It’s a structure that will accompany you from the very first sip until the nice long finish. Can you feel the structure and depth? That sounds nice “on paper”, you say? Well, believe us, it’s just like that in reality, too.
It’s a true reward for those 18 months spent in French oak barrels, half of which are new. Hand-picked from vineyards over forty-five years old, growing on ideal clay-limestone soil with iron content. Vineyards with perfect exposure, where the grapes receive exactly as much sun as they need.
It’s exactly the kind of bottle for such an evening when you have enough time for everything. A good dinner. A lovely company. No rush. Just time for wine.
Silver from Paris and gold from Independent Winemakers. These are awards that confirm what you will discover yourself after the first sip. This wine certainly deserves attention.
