Full of flavor to the last drop. This is the ruby-red Barolo 2017; a dry red wine that was born on the southern and southeast-facing slopes around the famous village of Barolo. The hand-picked grapes underwent a long 35-day maceration, which gave the wine a rich color and extravagant taste. Then it matured for another 2 years in oak barrels, 6 months in a tank, and another 10 months in its bottles.

The long maturation also gave this wine made from the Nebbiolo grapes that are typical for this region many subtle tones in its taste and aroma. Its bouquet will intrigue you with blackberries and red currants accompanied by tobacco and dried flowers. A combination of fruity and nutty flavors will dance in your mouth, with a light acidity and tannins that leave a lingering finish on your palate.

This archival red wine has superb potential for maturation. Serve it with hard cheeses and mushroom risotto.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How is the wine packaged for transport?

  • What does the wine actually look like?

You can view all the wines in the 360-degree photographs that are provided for each of them. These are authentic photographs. When the bottles are have been stored in varying conditions all of them are photographed and you can choose from among them.

  • Is archival wine suitable for drinking?

Only a winery’s best wines are put into archives. They have their exceptional taste, which is incomparable with the taste of young wines.
