The Silvaner variety is being slightly overlooked and it’s a shame. Its subtle minerality and sparkly acidity will please the tastebuds of any white wine lover. It will also be quite fun due to its light saltiness on the tongue and you might be nicely surprised how softly spicy it is.
This variety comes from Alsace and has had a growing tradition in Moravia since the 18th century. And when it falls into the hands of a winery which has lived and breathed quality for generations, it’s evident in every sip. The CHÂTEAU VALTICE winery has long been synonymous with top quality wines not only in the Czech Republic but also worldwide.
