Vintage wine from the Vaněk winery

The Vaněk winery is the story of one father, one son, and a great love for vineyards. Today, it’s managed by Jan Vaněk Junior himself and he isn’t in any hurry.

Everything begins with work done by hand. Mr. Vaněk has only as many hectares of vines as he’s able to cultivate himself by hand, so the vines receive the best care. The harvest begins early in the morning, and by lunchtime the grapes, which are still cool, are already put away in the cellar. The wine ferments in hand-hewn wooden barrels. The must is cooled using water from a local well.

This is why wines from Vaněk are distinctive, full, and unhurried. There are only 30 thousand bottles produced each year, and each one of them deserves to be tasted. That’s why we’re so proud that we managed to acquire them for you.
