The secret called Ripasso
Behind this exceptional taste lies the ancient Italian Ripasso technique. The Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes first take the best from the limestone-volcanic soil. Then they are hand-picked into small crates.
After the first fermentation comes the second. This time on the skins of the famous Amarone. And it is here that the bittersweet depth is born. The color is refined and the aroma enriched. The secret that you will discover with the first sip.
Pour yourself a glass. Your glass will be filled with wine of rich ruby color. Your nose will be tickled with the notes of red fruits underlined with soft hints of spices and vanilla. A full and harmonious taste with fruity freshness takes over your mouth. The finish is sweet and softly bitter.
First impression? Wine which is unbelievably easy to drink and elegant at the same time. Velvety tannins, fuller body and nicely long finish.
They took their time with this wine in the Grotta del Ninfeo winery. After maturing in the oak barrels they let it rest some more in the bottles. And the result? Elegance, balance and taste that’s not easily forgotten.
