We use three types of packaging:
Older vintage wines are placed in polystyrene boxes.
Magnum type bottles are protected by inflatable packaging.
Younger wines are placed in impact-resisting cardboard packaging.

How is the wine shipment marked?
The wine is shipped in a cardboard box taped with the Via Tempia logo to ensure that the package has not been tampered with en route. If you wish to have your order delivered anonymously you can select this option in the shopping cart.
How is the wine wrapped and protected during transport?
We wrap every bottle carefully in a special packaging so that it arrives undamaged. If you order a wooden gift box, it will be included in the same shipment with your wine.
What if the bottle breaks anyway?
Damage is rare, but if it does happen, don’t hesitate to contact us. Our customer support will help you resolve the situation as soon as possible.
Is the packaging suitable as a gift?
The packaging is primarily intended for the safe transport of your bottles. If you want to give the wine as a gift, we recommend that you add one of the wooden gift boxes.
Can I send wine directly to another recipient?
Certainly! The wine is carefully packaged and the invoice is not included – we only send it by email. Definitely don’t forget about the option of including a personal greeting written on handmade paper, free of charge. If you’d like to send the wine in an unmarked box choose this option in the shopping basket (Send your package anonymously).
Can I have my wine packed without the invoice in the package?
Your invoice will be sent to you via e-mail, we never include it in the package.
Is the packaging suitable for longer transport or even extreme temperatures?
Our packaging is designed to ensure your wine arrives safely even during longer journeys. Thanks to its construction it helps to absorb temperature fluctuations during transport.
Is the wine delivered in the gift box?
No, but the wooden gift box (purchased separately) is included in the same shipment. For safety reasons, the wine is packed separately to prevent damage during transport.
