Vintage wine from the Mas de Boislauzon winery

Imagine… 34 hectares of vineyards at the very best French location. 15 different plots of land. There’s sand, limestone, pebbles. Experts would call it “a mosaic terroir”. The roots grow slowly deep into the soil here. Some are up to 70 years old. That’s where character is born. The striking color, the aroma that’s certain to leave a notable first impression and the taste? Unforgettable. 

The secret of this family’s tradition? No rush. The grapes get picked by hand and sorted right in the vineyard. Then they’re left to ferment slowly in concrete tanks and later transferred to old barrels to mature to perfection. Nothing more, nothing less. Simplicity. Traditions. Patience. 

Since 2012, everything has been running in a certified organic mode. Since 2021, it has also been running biodynamically, according to the lunar calendar and the natural rhythm of nature. It’s a return to what has always worked here. 

The varieties? Grenache in the lead, supported by Mourvèdre and Syrah. There’s depth in the wines of Mas de Boislauzon. About time to discover it!
