On the nose, you will detect the scent of red fruits macerated in alcohol, sweet spices, cocoa, and tobacco. Your palate will be enveloped in velvety softness. You will be delighted by well-integrated tannins and a long – truly long – finish.

Riserva means extra time. And the Fraccaroli family knows how to wait indeed.

The vines are grown in volcanic soil, 120 meters above sea level. The grapes are harvested by hand into small crates. And then, the wait begins. They are left to dry slowly for approximately 90 days, following the ancient appassimento tradition. The reward for this patience is a concentrated aroma and great intensity.

Then comes the barrel. A new one. Made of French oak. At least 8 years of darkness, silence, and slow transformation. And finally, years of bottle aging.

We carefully pack each bottle into a special package so it isn’t damaged on the way to you. A gift box is packed separately, but naturally it also arrives in the same shipment as the wine.

What does the wine actually look like?

Is archival wine suitable for drinking?

Only a winery’s best wines are put into archives. They have their exceptional taste, which is incomparable with the taste of young wines.
