It’s because the semi-dry Gewürztraminer from 2018 has such rich tastes and aromas. Fonné overcame the atypical weather that year, and created a complex white wine that marries freshness with fruity taste.

All the wines from the Michel Fonné winery come from vineyards that offer generous amounts of sunshine. However, the grapes used for this particular white wine from the Grand Cru series grew in a specially selected vineyard. The soil underneath it stands out with its elements of marble, limestone, and granite.

This is also why the archival Gewürztraminer from the Grand Cru series has such a concentrated flavor with balanced acidity. And great archiving potential as well.

We carefully pack each bottle into a special package so it isn’t damaged on the way to you. A gift box is packed separately, but naturally it also arrives in the same shipment as the wine.
