“This wine radiates the power of ripe grapes.”

That’s how our founder, the sommelier Jan Pánek, described the Italian Amarone from 2016. Does this description seem too poetic? Try it and you’ll also be speaking in verses. Amarone is created from raisins, and that’s why it’s so intense, fruity, and elegant.

We’ll send it to you in beautiful gift packaging.

The intensity of Italy in 6 bottles

Amarone is one of the most famous Italian wines – and rightfully so. It’s produced a short way from Verona from grapes that the winemakers dry on straw. This is why it’s so full, rich, and intense.

At the Dal Cero winery, these traditional methods are passed down from generation to generation. Their wines are experiences preserved in bottles.

An archival Amarone enjoyed by connoisseurs

The Amarone della Valpolicella Dal Cero from 2016 enchanted us as well as connoisseurs around the world. The famous wine expert James Suckling awarded it 94 points and in Gambero Rosso, which is a catalogue of the best Italian wines it received the Due bicchieri rating.

Due bicchieri – two glasses. This is at least how many you’ll have to drink in order to believe that such a wonderful wine truly exists.

This archival wine has 16.5 % alcohol, but it still feels light to drink. It slides smoothly over your tongue and leaves an elegant feeling and the scent of ripe fruit.

Enjoy it now, and then again in 30 years

The 2016 vintage has matured nicely already, but its flavors will continue developing after more years in the archive. According to the winemakers, you can archive it for at least 30 years.

This is why we prepared a set for you with 6 bottles. Taste one bottle now, another after a year has passed, and then another after a few more years. You’ll explore all the forms of archival Amarone.

A perfect gift in a gift box (which you receive from us for free)
