What can you expect in this wine tasting set?
Champagne Bouché Blanc de Blancs: Champagne wine made from Chardonnay
The best things are worth waiting for. Like this dry Champagne wine which aged for 4 years in its bottles, and thus acquired a delicate citrus aroma. You’ll be enchanted by its pale yellow color and delicate bubbles. The tones of grapefruit, lemon, and honey will tingle your nose. Its taste is elegant and delicate, and natural acidity makes this Champagne even more refreshing. Champagne Blanc de Blancs goes well with fish, or it makes a great aperitif.
Champagne Bouché Blanc de Noirs: Champagne wine produced from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier
The main role is played in this dry Champagne by Pinot Noir (80 %), and Pinot Meunier (20 %) plays the supporting role.
This atypical Champagne, Blanc de Noirs, doesn’t contain any added sugars, and it ages for 6 years on lees. This is why you’ll perceive all its minerality without a speck of anything artificial. The light yellow color and fine bubbles lend the wine a lively, but pleasant spark. This unique Champagne with a fruity aroma makes a perfect complement to oysters.
2008 Champagne Bouché Millesime Vintage: Archival Champagne
Even in the Champagne Bouché from 2008 Pinot Noir is the main variety (70 %), but this time it’s accompanied by Chardonnay (30 %).
One third of the wine matured in oak barrels, which gave it a unique taste and aroma. This is how a genuine Champagne wine that combines strength and freshness is created. Its flavor is rich and distinctive, and its aroma is light and refreshing.
The prestigious French wine guide Guide Hachette des Vins writes about Bouché 2008: “After aging for 12 years, this vintage is a remarkable, refined and elegant Champagne that perfectly complements any dish.”
