Vintage wine from the Weingut Georg Müller Stiftung winery

In 2003, the winery came into the capable hands of its current owner, Peter Winter. He restored its former glory, blending the historic estate with a modern approach.

No herbicides. No mineral fertilizers. Here, they nurture the soil and harvest by hand. They also limit yields, all to make a fine wine even better.

It is no coincidence that the winery was a founding member of the prestigious VDP association back in 1910 – an elite group that still counts only the very best wineries among its ranks.

Their philosophy? “Winemaking is a craft. Achieving top-tier quality is an art.” And they take that “art” literally. You’ll find a gallery in the cellar; they regularly host exhibitions and pair wine tastings with art.

The cellar also houses their own  “Schatzkammer” – a treasure trove of historic bottles. With ideal conditions and decades of aging, it is the very definition of proper archiving.
