2005 Riesling Bamberger
Riesling 2005 is a dry white wine that excels in its rich character. If you store it in the archive the tastes of the wine’s tertiary tones will deepen. Thanks to its excellent level of acidity, this wine makes a perfect complement to heavier dishes.
Heiko and Ute Bamberger work in perfect harmony with nature, harvesting the grapes they use for their wines with the most attentive care.
The Bamberger family winery is located in the German village of Meddersheim, close to the river Nahe. The Bambergers primarily focus on growing the traditional Riesling variety that they cultivate in more than half of their vineyards. The grapes ripen on the steep slopes alongside the river, some of which reach heights of up to 300 meters above sea level. This unique landscape gives rise to fresh-tasting, distinctive wines with appealing minerality and terroir.
